Three things decide what you pay. None of them is a countdown.
Every service below is listed at three rates. Your tier is assigned from financial eligibility — household income relative to area median, household size, student status, military or veteran status, non-profit or public-service employment, whether you are uninsured or underinsured, employer benefit level, and documented financial hardship. Tier never changes the clinical appropriateness of your care, and it never overrides licensure, supervision or where a service is available.
A session rate is the per-session rate at the stated monthly frequency. If you are on a weekly or semi-monthly plan and you hold a MUUD account, your membership invoice shows a lower per-session rate under our instant rebate offers. We do not publish a rebate figure here — your coach quotes yours against your plan.
You pay MUUD directly at the listed price. We do not bill insurers. We issue an itemized superbill you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and our services are qualified medical expenses for HSA/FSA. Details in How to pay, below.

A 30-minute video call with a nationally certified (NBHWC) wellness coach. It is a real assessment, not an intake form: you get real feedback and a personalized wellness plan that is yours to keep, whether or not you become a member. This consultation is not clinical care.
The Wellness Consultation is free at least through 2026-12-31; we will reassess in December 2026, and it may continue. Attend and you pay nothing. MUUD account holders with a card on file are charged a $50 no-show fee for a missed consultation; there is nothing to charge if you have no card on file.

60 minutes · with your own specialist
The Intro Evaluation is 60 minutes, always, with the MD, PhD or licensed clinical provider who will actually care for you. It is clinical care. It is normally booked for you by your wellness coach after your consultation and membership registration — it is coach-assisted rather than the first step.
A missed Intro Evaluation is charged the cost of the visit — $300 — because the hour is committed either way.
Your coach owns the handoff: if you choose to establish membership, your coach walks you through membership registration, connects you to the therapist or psychiatrist who fits your service plan, and books your Intro Evaluation with that specialist. You are not left to find your own way to a clinician.

MUUD Clinic services are qualified medical expenses. Pay with your HSA/FSA card, or use the itemized superbill we provide to reimburse from your HSA/FSA. Eligibility depends on your plan and IRS rules — consult your plan administrator or tax advisor.
MUUD is out-of-network. You pay MUUD directly and we issue a superbill (an itemized receipt with diagnosis and CPT/procedure codes) you can submit to your insurer to seek out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined solely by your insurer and is not guaranteed.
MUUD Clinic is a private-pay, out-of-network provider. Listed prices are what you pay MUUD directly. HSA/FSA and out-of-network insurance reimbursement depend on your individual plan and are never guaranteed; MUUD does not bill insurers directly. Consult your plan administrator or tax advisor. Psychiatry and therapy are clinical care, delivered in person and remotely, in California, where our clinicians are licensed. Mental Performance Coaching is not clinical care and is available remotely, nationwide — so a distributed workforce or a multi-state roster can be served on the coaching track wherever they are.
Organization programs are priced per member per month (PMPM). The ranges below are indicative and are finalized during intake.

PMPM buys access for your population, not a fixed number of appointments. Ranges are indicative and are finalized during intake — there is no self-serve checkout for an organization plan, by design.

15 minutes with MUUD's Support Team. Population, geography, what you're solving for, and which services you want in scope.

We size the program against your population and the level of access you want, and name the band. Nothing is charged at this stage.
3 · Agreement and launch
Your rate is fixed in an agreement, your population gets a coach-led front door, and each member's own tier is assigned from financial eligibility exactly as it is for an individual member — your plan never changes the clinical appropriateness of anyone's care.
